A managed home for your containerized apps

Cloud Container Engine (CCE) is Huawei Cloud's fully-hosted Kubernetes service. It lets you build, run and scale containerized applications without installing or operating Kubernetes yourself — Huawei manages the control plane and infrastructure, so your team focuses on applications instead of operations.

It's built for performance and scale: diverse compute (x86, Kunpeng, Ascend), zero-loss passthrough networking, and scaling in seconds to absorb traffic spikes. CCE stays current with stable Kubernetes community versions and is CNCF-certified, so there's no lock-in. DDS sets it up on Huawei Cloud and supports your team.

What is CCE in simple terms?

A managed home for containerized apps. Kubernetes runs and coordinates containers; operating it yourself is complex, so CCE runs it for you — create a cluster in a few clicks and deploy your apps.

Which cluster type should I choose?

CCE Standard for general enterprise Kubernetes, CCE Turbo for maximum performance with flattened networking, and CCE Autopilot for fully serverless containers. DDS helps you choose.

Is it standard Kubernetes?

Yes — CCE stays compatible with stable community Kubernetes versions and is CNCF-certified, so your workloads stay portable with no lock-in.

Which storage can containers use?

Local disks, EVS (block), OBS (object), SFS / SFS Turbo (file) and DSS. For shared multi-node access use OBS, SFS or SFS Turbo; EVS is recommended for persistent data that migrates with the container.

How is it billed?

Yearly/monthly (prepaid, lower rate for stable use) or pay-per-use (for fluctuating demand). Billed items include clusters and nodes; you can switch modes as needs change.
